This radio frequency (RF) control device operates seamlessly with Pico wireless controls and Radio Powr Savr sensors, offering effortless lighting management through Lutron’s reliable Clear Connect RF Technology. By installing this module in the plenum, you can easily control commercial 0–10 V fixtures while using the module’s built-in buttons for testing and commissioning. For everyday operation, simply use a Pico wireless remote control to adjust lighting levels, saving both time and money on installation while enjoying the flexibility of wireless control.
This dimming module supports up to 60 mA of 0–10 V controlled fixtures and can switch up to 8 A total, making it suitable for a variety of applications. Its 0–10 V control link automatically sources or sinks to third-party fixtures, ensuring compatibility and smooth operation. The module also features configurable high- and low-end trim settings, allowing you to fine-tune light levels to match your specific needs. Additionally, it communicates with up to nine Pico wireless controls, six Radio Powr Savr occupancy/vacancy sensors, and one Radio Powr Savr daylight sensor, providing comprehensive control over your lighting environment.
Designed for easy installation, the PowPak Dimming Module mounts directly to a US-style junction box via a standard-size knockout. It is UL Listed in the U.S. and Canada and complies with NEC 2011 300.22(C)(3) requirements for use in plenum spaces, ensuring safe and reliable operation in areas handling environmental air. An LED status indicator provides real-time feedback on load status and programming, while power failure memory ensures connected loads return to their previous level after a power interruption.
Advanced features include 0–10 V miswire protection up to 30 volts, programmable inversion for 10–0 V control, and adjustable high- and low-end trim settings that affect all connected fixtures equally. These settings can be configured directly from the module or via any associated Pico wireless control when not in programming lockout mode. The low-end trim is adjustable between 0–45%, helping to eliminate flickering or dropouts in sensitive fixtures. For energy savings in over-lit spaces, the maximum light output of connected fixtures can be reduced down to 55%.
