The Lutron P-PKG1WB-WH Caseta Wireless Smart Lighting Dimmer Switch offers effortless control and customization for your home lighting. This versatile kit includes a plug-in lamp dimmer and a wireless Pico remote control, allowing you to create the perfect ambiance for reading, watching TV, or entertaining. Simply plug the dimmer into a standard outlet and pair it with up to two lamps for seamless control.
Use the Pico remote in your hand, place it on a tabletop pedestal (sold separately), or mount it directly to the wall for convenient access from anywhere in the room. The dimmer is compatible with up to 300 watts of incandescent/halogen bulbs or 100 watts of dimmable LED/CFL bulbs, ensuring smooth and reliable performance.
For added smart functionality, pair the dimmer with the Caseta Smart Hub (sold separately) to enable advanced features like automated lighting schedules and the Smart Away feature, which randomly turns lights on/off to simulate occupancy while you're away. Caseta integrates seamlessly with leading smart home platforms, including Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Ring, Serena shades, and Sonos, making it the most connected smart lighting solution available.
Control your lights your way—via the free Lutron app, voice commands, or directly from the wall. Create personalized schedules, set favorite scenes, and adjust lighting with a single touch. The Smart Hub ensures ultra-reliable performance without relying on Wi-Fi, so your smart lighting remains functional even during network outages.
Unlike other smart dimmers, Caseta works in any home, regardless of age, as it doesn’t require a neutral wire. Setting up a 3-way configuration is easy—mount the Pico remote to almost any wall surface using the optional wall mount bracket (sold separately) or replace existing 3-way switches by mounting the bracket and Pico over the backbox.
Technical details: Compatible with up to 150 watts of dimmable LED/CFL bulbs or 600 watts of incandescent/halogen bulbs; not rated for low-voltage applications such as track or landscape lighting.
