The Caséta Wireless In-Wall Fan Control by Lutron provides users with the ability to effortlessly control their ceiling fans using a Pico Remote or through the Caséta System from anywhere in the world. This innovative fan speed control offers four quiet fan speeds plus an off setting for a single paddle-type ceiling fan, ensuring smooth and silent operation. It features a convenient favorite button that allows you to preset your preferred fan speed for quick access. The included Pico Remote is perfect for multi-location applications, offering reliable performance with a 10-year battery life. A unique kick-start feature briefly sets the fan to high speed before adjusting to the selected speed, ensuring optimal performance. Designed for use with paddle-type ceiling fans only, this control is not compatible with fans that have integrated speed or light control modules, DC motor fans, remote-controlled fans, or exhaust fans.
The PD-FSQN-WH operates on 120V AC motors, with a maximum load of 1.5A and a minimum load of 0.1A, and requires a neutral wire for installation. It fits standard 1-gang U.S. wallboxes, with a recommended depth of 3.5 inches (89 mm) and a minimum depth of 2.25 inches (57 mm). For multi-location setups, the Fan Pico Remote can be installed using the Pico Wallbox Adapter Bracket. The device includes a Front Accessible Service Switch (FASS) tab, which can be pulled out for servicing or cleaning the fan and pushed back in to restore power.
Built to withstand electrostatic discharge and surge voltages without damage or operational loss, this fan control adheres to IEC 61000-4-2 and IEEE C62.41-1991 standards. It features green status LEDs to indicate load status and includes power failure memory, ensuring the fan returns to its previously set level after a power interruption. Compatible with Lutron Claro wallplates or designer-style wallplates from other manufacturers (sold separately), the control blends seamlessly into any decor with its sleek snap-on design that hides visible attachment points.
